After many suggestions we have decided to include shortboards into our family of boards, since the beginning of Zed's Surfing Adventures we have always concentrated on beginner to high performance longboards. As far as i was concerned this was where the business was at.... although this is mostly true something happened the last few months.
The first thing was BA's(British Airways) ban on boards and we saw an increase in requests for shortboards, surfers in the UK and Italy were now left in the cold (literally) without a carrier to carry their boards. Now Virgin Atlantic has eased the tension for the UK surfers but the Italians are still in the dumps because the connections from Milan, Rome are difficult and usually BA is the carrier from there.
The second thing was the offer from Webber to get the boards into the Barbados lineup, when i saw the quality and price i realized that we could introduce these shortboards into the rental family and not be burdened with usual high cost of shortboards versus the low volume of requests for them..
We now have the Webber SLX epoxy in stock and ready to go, we are carrying the After Burner, Fat Burner and Shortboard from Global Surf industries

Looks like the British Airways ban has hurt a lot of people. It' great to see Zed acting in response to the ban and helping folks that come to Barbados for surf and can't bring their own boards.
